What is remote access? And how does it work?

Remote access is one of the great features within the Smartwave App. It allows you to control your Smartwave devices while you’re away from home using your mobile device.

Remote access is automatically enabled after you setup your Smartwave device, as long as you have an internet connection. This includes other Wi-Fi networks or using your 3G/4G data.

When the Smartwave App is launched outside of your home, the App contacts the Smartwave cloud, where it re-directs your mobile’s request. This allows you to control your Smartwave devices away from home.
